Preface

When we started our collection of data compression resources back in 1996 the internet still was a quiet and clear place. Well, things have evolved dramatically since, and maintaining such a collection could easily become a full-time job. So we now only provide a small set of selected resources - for a broader view please follow the compression pointers below.
